I am sorry but I have went down hill and completely not feeling well at all.  I will not be posting a blog today.  I am sorry.  I had a rough day yesterday, as my wife was driving me, an hour away, for a CT scan, the tech called and said that they didn’t do that type of scan at that location.  I was 15 minutes away.  I never took my medicine and I was having anxiety attacks on the way there.  It was a mess.  Last night was hell with sleeping and my wife even took refuge on the couch.  I woke up this morning screaming her name in a full blown panic/anxiety attack.  However, it is extremely hard to recognize  if I am having heart issues or a panic/anxiety attack.  I did take my blood pressure and even the machine says its high.  I am going to lay low today.  I will be back very soon and my story will continue.

Thank you all for your support and reading my blog.  When I started this I honestly did not think anyone would care.  The beat goes on…..

  1. Let go of the “shoulds” and the “have tos” and the “need tos” and let yourself be okay with checking out to take care of yourself. I don’t have any experience other than low level anxiety but I do know that no matter what level you are at, your self talk makes a difference. Remind yourself often that you are okay right now. Write it down if you have to. You have a proven track record of surviving every day since your heart attack. If I was a gambler I would stake some pretty big money that you are going to survive today, too. Take care, Bruce. You are in my thoughts and prayers. -Erika (and Winnie 🐾)

      • LOL I’m sorry I didn’t see this yesterday. I was having my son and his family over for dinner and got offline. I know how you feel. I work on things here and get offline and all I can think about is the next post or reading blogs I follow.


  2. Do not opologize to us! We get it and have been there! You rest, relax, refocus and comeback as soon as you can! Thanks for letting us know though, we would have missed you! Just plain old heart burn makes me a nervous wreck, those symptoms scare me into an anxiety
